Lac des Perches, a captivating glacial lake in the Haut-Rhin department of France, sits at an elevation of 984 meters on the Alsatian side of the Vosges Mountains. The lake's German name, Sternsee, meaning 'Lake of the Star,' reflects its serene beauty.
