To reach Cascade de Retournemer by car, start from the center of Xonrupt-Longemer and take the D417 road northwest. After approximately 3 km, you will find a free parking area on the right, just before the cascade. From the parking area, a short walk along the marked trail will lead you to the cascade.

Public Transport
To reach Cascade de Retournemer via public transport, take a train to Épinal station. From Épinal, catch bus line 12 towards Xonrupt-Longemer, which runs several times a day. Get off at the Xonrupt-Longemer stop; from there, it's about a 3 km walk to the cascade. Follow the D417 road northwest until you reach the parking area, then proceed on foot. Bus fare is approximately €2-€4.

From Lac de Retournemer, the Cascade de Retournemer is an easy 5-minute walk. Follow the path through the old train tunnel to reach the cascade. Alternatively, you can walk along the stream to access the cascade.
