To reach Bora-Bora EcoLodge from Vaitape, take a local boat transfer. Head to the Vaitape Dock, which is the main hub for boat services. Look for any boat heading towards Anau, as this is the closest area to the EcoLodge. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Anau, you may need to walk or take a short taxi boat to reach the EcoLodge directly.
Water Taxi
You can also hire a private water taxi from Vaitape to Bora-Bora EcoLodge. This option provides a more direct route and can be arranged at the Vaitape Dock. Inform the captain of your destination, and they will take you directly to the EcoLodge. This ride will also take about 20-30 minutes, depending on the water conditions.
Public Ferry
If you prefer a more economical option, check the schedule for the public ferry service that runs from Vaitape to Anau. This ferry may not run frequently, so be sure to check the timetable in advance. After arriving at Anau, you can walk to the EcoLodge, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
