If you're staying in Vaitape, start your journey by heading towards the main road, Avenue de La Liberté. From there, follow the signs towards Matira Beach. Once you reach Matira Beach, continue along the path until you reach the intersection with the Unnamed Road. Take a left onto Unnamed Road, and follow this road for approximately 30 minutes on foot. You will see signs along the way directing you towards Marae Fare-Opu.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Vaitape. Begin your ride on Avenue de La Liberté heading towards Matira Beach. After reaching Matira Beach, turn left onto the Unnamed Road. Continue cycling along this road for about 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Marae Fare-Opu, which will be on your right.
Boat
If you're near a boat rental service, consider renting a small boat or joining a tour that heads towards the northern part of Bora Bora. Head towards the area near Fa'anui. As you approach the shore, look for the Unnamed Road that leads to Marae Fare-Opu. You may need to anchor your boat a short distance away and walk the final stretch to reach the site.
