If you have rented a car while in Gambier Islands, start from the main town of Rikitea. Head southeast on the main road towards the southern coast of the island. Follow the signs for Te Tiare Beach, and after approximately 15 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork that leads to the coastline. Continue for another 10 minutes until you reach People ThankYou, which will be located on your right. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach People ThankYou using public transport, locate the local bus station in Rikitea. Take the bus that heads towards the southern beaches, which runs approximately every hour. Inform the driver you are going to People ThankYou. The bus ride will take about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, it will be a short walk of about 5 minutes along the coast to reach the guest house. Please have some cash on hand for the bus fare, which is usually around 300 CFP.

If you're staying close to the area, you can walk to People ThankYou from Rikitea. Head southeast along the main road towards Te Tiare Beach. The walk will take you about 45 minutes. Make sure to enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach the fork in the road, take the left fork leading to the coastline, and continue for another 10 minutes until you see People ThankYou on your right.
