Car
If you are renting a car, start from the main town of Fare. Head south towards the main road (Route de Huahine). Follow the road as it curves along the coastline. Look for signs indicating directions to 'Hana Iti' or ask locals for guidance. Turn left onto the unpaved road that leads directly to Plage Hana Iti. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended due to the bumpy road conditions. Parking is free.
Public Transport
To reach Plage Hana Iti via public transport, take a local bus from Fare. The bus to Hana Iti departs from the main bus terminal in Fare. The fare is around 1,000 XPF (approximately $10 USD). The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Inform the driver you are heading to Plage Hana Iti to be dropped off at the nearest stop. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes down the path to the beach.
Boat
From the main village of Fare, take a local boat taxi to the southern coast of Huahine. Boat taxis can be found at the Fare dock. Confirm that the boat is heading towards the southern beaches. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Upon arrival at the nearest dock to Plage Hana Iti, walk a short distance along the beach to reach the specific area of Hana Iti.
