Driving
From the Moorea ferry port, Belvedere Lookout is approximately 28 km away, a drive of around 45 minutes. Follow the main road and then the well-marked signs to Opunohu Valley. The fastest route is via Opunohu Bay. Be aware that the road becomes narrower and curvier as you ascend. Parking is available at the lookout , and it is free. A taxi from the ferry port will cost around $40.
Public Transport
From the ferry terminal, you can catch a local bus towards Papetō'ai. From Papetō'ai, you can walk to the lookout (approximately 30 minutes uphill) or take a taxi. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance to coordinate your arrival and departure times. The bus fare from Tahiti Iti to the ferry terminal is about 300 XPF (approximately 3 USD). The ferry to Moorea costs about 1,200 XPF (around 12 USD) for a round trip. The taxi fare from Moorea ferry terminal to Belvedere Lookout will typically cost around 2,000 XPF (20 USD).
