From the Vaiare ferry terminal, you can take a taxi or rent a scooter. A taxi to Vallée d'Opunohu will take about 25 minutes. Taxi fares in Moorea have a starting price of approximately 1,500 XPF, with an additional 130 XPF per kilometer. Scooter rentals are also available.
Bike Rental
Alternatively, you can rent a bike in Vaiare and cycle to Vallée d'Opunohu. Follow the Route de ceinture north, passing through picturesque landscapes. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes.

For adventurous travelers, you can hike from the center of Moorea towards Vallée d'Opunohu. Start at the main road and follow the signs. The hike can take 1-2 hours.
