    To reach Vallée d'Opunohu, begin by taking a ferry from Papeete, Tahiti, to the ferry terminal in Vaiare, Moorea. Ferry tickets range from $15 to $30 one-way. From the Vaiare ferry terminal, you can take a taxi or rent a scooter. A taxi to Vallée d'Opunohu will take about 25 minutes. Taxi fares in Moorea have a starting price of approximately 1,500 XPF, with an additional 130 XPF per kilometer. Scooter rentals are also available.

  • Bike Rental

    Alternatively, you can rent a bike in Vaiare and cycle to Vallée d'Opunohu. Follow the Route de ceinture north, passing through picturesque landscapes. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
