Most visitors arrive at Rangiroa Airport (RGI) on the main motu of Avatoru, a 50-minute flight from Tahiti. Arrange airport pickup with Rairoa Fishing and Tours or your accommodation. Taxis are also available at the airport. Expect to pay around 2,000-3,000 XPF for a taxi to accommodations near Avatoru or Tiputa.

If traveling independently on the main island, consider renting a car, scooter, or bicycle to reach Ohotu Pier, where many tours depart.
