Getting There

  • Bicycle

    If you're in the village of Avatoru, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by heading east on the main road (Route des Récifs) towards the beach. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the airport. Turn right at the intersection and keep cycling straight for another 1.5 kilometers. Pension Cécile will be on your left, marked with a sign.

  • Walking

    From the Avatoru village center, make your way towards the beach. Follow the main path leading to the beach until you reach the shoreline. Once you are at the beach, walk along the shoreline heading south for about 1 kilometer. After reaching the southern end of the beach, look for a small path that leads inland. Follow this path for approximately 500 meters, and you will find Pension Cécile on your left.

  • Boat

    If you are in a nearby motu (islet), you can hire a small boat to take you to Pension Cécile. Make arrangements with a local fisherman or boat operator. Ask them to take you to the main shore of Rangiroa near Avatoru. Once you reach the main island, follow the shoreline to the north for about 500 meters until you find the entrance to Pension Cécile.
