If you're in Bora Bora, renting a car is a convenient way to get to Tupe. Start by renting a car from one of the local agencies in Vaitape, the main town on the island. Once you have your car, head southeast on Route de Vaitape towards Anau. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Anau and Tupe as you approach the area. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes and past local villages, which are worth a stop for photos. Follow the road until you reach the beach area known as Tupe.

To reach Tupe using public transportation, start from Vaitape where the main bus terminal is located. Take the local bus that heads towards Anau. The bus ride will cost around 300 XPF (French Polynesian Francs) and takes approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver you want to get off at Tupe; they are familiar with the stops. Once you arrive, you will be close to the beach and can explore the area on foot.
