Turn left onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle, and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see Bougainville Park on your right, just past the intersection with Rue de la Paix.

    From central Papeete, locate the main bus terminal (Gare Routière de Papeete). Board any bus heading towards the direction of Papeete city center. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Once you disembark, walk along Avenue du Général de Gaulle for about 5 minutes until you see Bougainville Park on your left.
