Walking
If you are staying in Papeete, you can easily walk to Bougainville Park. Start at the waterfront near the ferry terminal. Head northeast along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the view of the ocean. Continue straight until you reach Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Turn left onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle, and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see Bougainville Park on your right, just past the intersection with Rue de la Paix.
Public Transport (Bus)
From central Papeete, locate the main bus terminal (Gare Routière de Papeete). Board any bus heading towards the direction of Papeete city center. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Once you disembark, walk along Avenue du Général de Gaulle for about 5 minutes until you see Bougainville Park on your left.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from your accommodation in Papeete. Head towards the waterfront and follow the coastal road. Make your way to Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Cycle along this road for approximately 15 minutes. Bougainville Park will be on your left side, just after passing the main intersection with Rue de la Paix.
