Car
If you are travelling by car, start from the central area of Akanda National Park. Head south towards the main road (Route Nationale 1). Follow Route Nationale 1 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenue de la République and continue straight for 5 kilometers. Auururu will be on your right, near the coordinates 0.4161976, 9.4672676. Make sure to look for signs indicating the park entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Auururu by public transportation, first, find a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Libreville. You can catch these from various points in the park area. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Auururu. The fare is typically around 500 CFA francs. Once you arrive at the vicinity of 26345, Libreville, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Auururu. Look for local signs or ask residents for directions if needed.
Walking
If you are already within Akanda National Park and prefer to walk to Auururu, start from the nearest park trail and head east towards the main entrance of the park. Follow the designated walking paths that lead you towards the area close to Libreville. The distance is approximately 3 kilometers, and it should take about 30 to 40 minutes of walking. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
