Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the capital of Upper Ogooué Province, Franceville. Head south on the N1 highway towards Lastoursville. After approximately 50 kilometers, turn left onto the D1 road towards the Ogooué River. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the riverbanks. Look for signs indicating viewpoints or access points along the river.
Public Transportation
To reach the Ogooué River using public transportation, take a shared taxi or bus from Franceville heading towards Lastoursville. The fare is generally around 2000 CFA francs. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off at the D1 junction. From there, you can either walk or hire a local motorbike taxi (costs about 1000 CFA francs) to take you directly to the river.
Walking
