To reach Katskhi Column from Black Rock Mountain State Park by car, start by exiting the park and heading south on Hwy 441. Continue on Hwy 441 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the town of Clayton. At the intersection with Hwy 76, turn left and follow Hwy 76 for about 12 miles. Then, merge onto GA-197 N and continue for about 14 miles. Follow the signs for Katskhi Column, which will lead you to the parking area. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee, typically around $5.

If you are relying on public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Black Rock Mountain State Park to Clayton. From Clayton, you can catch a regional bus towards the nearest town with access to Katskhi Column. Be sure to check the local bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited.
