Taxi
From Kazbegi, taxis are readily available to take you to the Truso Gorge trailhead near Kvemo Okrokana. Negotiate the price beforehand, typically around 80-100 GEL for a round trip. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
Public Transport
SharedMinibuses operate from Tbilisi to Kazbegi. From Kazbegi, you can take a shared transfer organized by Mountain Freaks for approximately 55 GEL for a round trip to Truso Valley. The bus departs from their office in Stepantsminda. Alternatively, you can take a marshrutka from Tbilisi to Kobi and then a taxi to Kvemo Okrokana village.
