From Gudauri, head southeast on the main road (E117) towards Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). After approximately 25 km, look for signs directing you towards Juta, which will be on your left. Take the turn towards Juta and continue on this road. The road may be narrow and winding. Once you reach Juta, park your car in the village. From Juta, you will need to hike to Chaukhi Pass, which is about 8 km away.
