From Stepantsminda, head north on the Georgian Military Highway. The waterfall is visible from the road. Look for a safe place to park before approaching the waterfall.

Marshrutka
Take a marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda. From Stepantsminda, the waterfall is a short taxi ride or a longer walk north along the Georgian Military Highway. Taxis in the city should not cost more than a few USD. The marshrutka from Tbilisi to Kazbegi costs approximately 10 GEL.
