To reach Okatse (Kinchkha) Big Waterfall via public transport, begin at the Kutaisi bus station. Look for a marshrutka (minibus) heading to the village of Kinchkhaperdi. The ride typically takes 30-40 minutes to 1.5 hours. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near the waterfall entrance. From Kinchkhaperdi, it's about a 2 km (15-minute) walk to the entrance. Marshrutka schedules can vary, so plan accordingly. The marshrutka from Kutaisi to Gordi (the village closest to Okatse Canyon) costs around 1 GEL. From Okatse Canyon visitor center, you can hire a taxi for 50-80 GEL to Kinchkha Waterfall.

If driving, start from Kutaisi and take the E60 highway heading west. After approximately 20 km, exit towards Kinchkhaperdi. Follow the local roads for about 10 km until you reach the entrance to the Okatse (Kinchkha) Big Waterfall area. Parking is available near the entrance. Be aware that the road becomes increasingly narrow and steep as you approach the waterfall. Parking near the entrance is generally available.

The first stage sees the water tumble from a height of 25 meters (82 feet), followed by a more dramatic 70-meter (229 feet) drop at the second stage. The final descent is a 35-meter (114 feet) fall at the third stage after joining the small rivers. The force of the water has carved out natural siphons in the surrounding rocks, adding to the area's unique geomorphology.The journey to the waterfall is an adventure in itself.
