If you are driving, start from the center of Kutaisi, which is approximately 20 kilometers away from Khurtisi Castle. Take the E60 highway southbound towards Tbilisi. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Samtredia and follow the signs to Pkhelshe. Continue on the local road until you reach the village of Pkhelshe. The castle is located near the coordinates 42.5993503 latitude and 44.5400278 longitude. Park your car in a safe area in the village, as direct access to the castle may require a short walk.

From Kutaisi, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Samtredia. These depart regularly from the central bus station. Once you arrive at Samtredia, you will need to take another marshrutka towards Pkhelshe. Ask the driver to drop you off at Pkhelshe. Once you reach Pkhelshe, the castle is a short walk from the main road. Use the coordinates 42.5993503, 44.5400278 to guide you to the entrance of the castle.
