If you are driving from Kutaisi, take the E60 highway heading east towards Tbilisi. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Zestafoni/Akhmeta (signposted). Continue on this road for about 25 kilometers, following signs for Akhmeta. Once in Akhmeta, use a GPS or map application to navigate to the coordinates 42.0266126, 45.229934, which is the location of the Qvevri monument. There is no parking fee, but make sure to park legally.
Public Transportation
To reach Qvevri monument using public transport, start by taking a marshrutka (minibus) from Kutaisi to Akhmeta. Marshrutkas depart regularly from the central bus station in Kutaisi. The fare is typically around 5 GEL. Once you arrive in Akhmeta, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the coordinates 42.0266126, 45.229934. Walking will take approximately 20 minutes, while a taxi should cost you about 5-10 GEL.
