Car
If you are driving from Meskheti, head towards Akhaltsikhe. The monastery is about 7 km southeast of Akhaltsikhe. Take the main road (E60) towards Akhaltsikhe and then follow the signs for Sapara Monastery. The last part of the journey involves a smaller road, so be cautious as it may be narrow. Once you reach the vicinity, look for signs directing you to the monastery. There is a parking area available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
From Meskheti, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Akhaltsikhe. The marshrutkas usually depart from the central bus station. Once you arrive in Akhaltsikhe, you can take a taxi or another marshrutka heading towards Sapara Monastery. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the monastery, as some may not go all the way. The taxi ride from Akhaltsikhe to the monastery should cost around 15-20 GEL.
