    The final approach to Shdugra Waterfall involves a hike from Mazeri village. From the village center, follow the well-marked trail leading north towards the Shikhra Valley. The hike to the base of the waterfall is approximately 3 km and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. The path crosses fields and passes through pine forests. After about 3.5 km from the start, you will see a bridge over the Dolra and come to Hikers Inn. The trail leads right through the inn, and continues along the river, slowly climbing up. From here, the path remains clear and ascends more steeply.

    To reach Mazeri village, the starting point for the Shdugra Waterfall hike, taxis are readily available in Mestia. A taxi ride from Mestia to Mazeri typically costs between 80-100 GEL and takes approximately 38 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a minibus from Kutaisi to Mestia for around 25 GEL. From Mestia, hire a taxi to Mazeri. There is no public transportation to Mazeri.
