Getting There

• Car

  From Mtskheta, head east on the E117 highway towards Tbilisi. Continue on the E117 for approximately 40 km until you reach the town of Ananuri. At Ananuri, follow the signs to Gudauri, taking the E117 highway. After about 30 km, you will see signs for Gudauri. Take the exit towards Gudauri and follow the road for another 10 km until you reach the Gudauri Ski Resort area. Look for the signs directing you to Ski Lift 8 Shino, which is situated at 'FFFM+G5C, Gudauri'. Make sure to park in designated areas as parking may incur a small fee.

• Public Transportation

  From Mtskheta, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) to Tbilisi. At the Tbilisi bus station, transfer to another marshrutka heading to Gudauri. The marshrutkas to Gudauri run frequently and take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in Gudauri, you can either walk or take a taxi to Ski Lift 8 Shino, which is located at 'FFFM+G5C, Gudauri'. The taxi ride will take around 10 minutes and may cost you between 5 to 10 GEL.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Mtskheta to Gudauri. This option provides door-to-door service and will take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Ensure to agree on a fare before starting your journey, which could range from 70 to 100 GEL.
