Getting There

Car
From the center of Pshavi, head southeast on the main road towards the village of Tsinarekhi. Follow the signs for Mtskheta and Gori. After approximately 15 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the turnoff to Kvatakhevi. Take the left turn and continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Kvatakhevi Monastery Complex. There is a small parking area available near the monastery.

Public Transportation
In Pshavi, take a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Mtskheta. These minibuses leave from the main bus station in Pshavi frequently. Once you arrive in Mtskheta, transfer to another marshrutka heading towards Gori. Inform the driver you want to get off at Kvatakhevi. The total journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on connections. Be prepared to walk the last 1-2 kilometers from the main road to the monastery, as public transport may not go directly to the site.
