Car
If you are driving from Pshavi, head southeast on the main road towards Aspindza. Follow the signs to Vardzia. The journey is approximately 38 kilometers and should take around 50 minutes. As you approach Vardzia, you will see signs directing you to the parking area near the entrance. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Vardzia via public transport, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Pshavi to Aspindza. Marshrutkas typically leave from central locations in Pshavi, and the ride will take about an hour. Once you arrive in Aspindza, you can catch a taxi or look for a local bus that heads to Vardzia. The taxi fare should be around 10-15 GEL, depending on negotiation and availability.
Walking
