Getting There

Car
To reach Becho Pass from the town of Mestia, drive south on the Svaneti road (E117) for about 20 kilometers. You will pass through the village of Mazeri. Look for the sign indicating Becho Pass and turn left onto a narrow dirt road. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers, where you will reach the trailhead for Becho Pass. Please note that this road can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation
From Mestia, take a marshrutka (shared minibus) heading towards the village of Mazeri. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs around 5 GEL. Once you arrive in Mazeri, you can either walk approximately 5 kilometers to the trailhead for Becho Pass or hire a local taxi for about 15-20 GEL to take you directly to the trailhead.

Hiking
If you prefer to hike, you can start from Mazeri village after arriving either by car or public transport. Follow the marked trail leading up towards Becho Pass. The hike is challenging and can take around 3-4 hours, depending on your fitness level. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way.
