Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Mestia. Head south on the main road (E117) towards Zugdidi. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Sairme, following the signs. Continue on the local road for about 20 km until you reach the village of Alpana. From Alpana, there is an unpaved road leading towards the Sairme Pillars. The last part of the journey requires a short hike as the road may not be accessible by car. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for the hike.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Mestia to Zugdidi. From Zugdidi, you can find another marshrutka heading towards the village of Sairme. Ask the driver to drop you off near Alpana. From there, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to reach the Sairme Pillars. Be aware that the last part of the path may not be clearly marked, so it's advisable to use a map or ask locals for directions.
