Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central square of Signagi, head south towards the main street, Shota Rustaveli Street. Continue along this street for about 5 minutes, enjoying the charming architecture. As you walk, you will pass several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the 'Signagi City Wall' signs which will lead you towards the gate. After approximately 400 meters, you will reach a small park on your right. The entrance to the city gate is just past the park entrance, marked by a stone archway. The gate itself is a beautiful historical structure that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

    If you are starting from the Signagi Museum, exit the museum and turn left onto Kote Marjanishvili Street. Walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Tsinandali Street. Turn right onto Tsinandali Street and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will see the city wall on your left side. As you approach the wall, look for the entrance to the city gate, which will be marked and easily visible. Take your time to enjoy the scenic views along the way.

After about 5-7 minutes of walking, you will come to a fork in the road. At the fork, take the right path leading towards the city wall. Continue straight for another 300 meters, and you will arrive at the Signagi city gate, recognizable by its historic architecture. This route is approximately 1 kilometer and will take you through some of the most picturesque streets in Signagi.
