Getting There

    From your location in Altbayern, head towards Passau. Follow signs for the A3 motorway. Merge onto A3 and continue until you reach exit 1 for Passau. Follow the signs for ILZSTADT and then Oberhausstraße. Continue on Oberhausstraße until you reach the parking area near Veste Oberhaus. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €2 for a few hours.

    Take a regional train to Passau from your nearest station. Once you arrive at Passau Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and head to the bus stop located directly outside. Board bus line 5 towards 'Oberhaus' and disembark at the Oberhaus stop. From there, it's a short walk uphill to Veste Oberhaus.
