Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, head to Schloßgäßle, 79410 Badenweiler. From central Baden, take the B3 road heading south towards Freiburg. After approximately 5 km, take the exit toward Badenweiler. Follow the signs for Badenweiler and then Schloßgäßle. There is parking available near the castle for a small fee (around €2 for 2 hours). The castle is a short walk from the parking area.

Public Transportation

To use public transportation, take the local bus service from Baden. You can catch Bus Line 201 at any central bus stop. Make sure to get off at the 'Badenweiler Schloss' stop. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. From the bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to Badenweiler Castle. Please note that a single ticket costs about €2.50.

Walking (from central Baden)

If you prefer to walk from the center of Baden, head southwest on the main road (Badenweilerstraße) for about 1.5 km. You’ll pass through some picturesque areas. Once you reach the intersection with Schloßgäßle, turn right. The castle will be a short distance ahead. This walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
