Kurpark Partenkirchen: A Tranquil Oasis

In 1930, the market of Partenkirchen leased the villa and park, transforming it into the Kurhaus Partenkirchen. This marked the beginning of its role as a health and wellness center. The municipality of Garmisch-Partenkirchen acquired the property in 1950, housing the Garmisch-Partenkirchen spa administration there until 1999. Today, the villa is home to the Richard Strauss Institute, where visitors can explore exhibits dedicated to the renowned composer.
