Global Stone Project: A Testament to Peace

Nestled in the heart of Berlin's Tiergarten, near the Brandenburg Gate, the Global Stone Project is a unique outdoor sculpture park that embodies the spirit of unity and peace. Conceived by artist Wolfgang Kraker von Schwarzenfeld, the project features a collection of impressive stone monoliths sourced from five continents. Each stone represents a step on the road to peace: Europe (Awakening), Africa (Hope), Asia (Forgiveness), America (Love), and Australia (Peace). The stones are arranged in a circle, with their surfaces precisely aligned so that, on June 21st (the summer solstice), the sunlight connects all ten stones – the five in Berlin and their counterparts remaining in their countries of origin. This alignment symbolizes the interconnectedness of humanity and the project's message of global awareness.
