Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the city center of Brandenburg. Head southeast on Breite Straße toward Steinstraße. Continue onto Magdeburger Straße/B102 and follow the signs for the B1 toward Potsdam. After about 10 km, take the exit toward A2. Merge onto A2 and continue for about 15 km. Take exit 83-Brandenburg toward B1. Continue on B1 for approximately 5 km, then take a right onto L40 toward Mahlenzien. Follow L40 for around 3 km, and then turn left onto Diebesgrund Road. The destination will be on your right.
Public Transportation
To reach Diebesgrund using public transport, start at the Brandenburg main train station (Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof). Take the regional train (RE) towards Magdeburg. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the station 'Mahlenzien'. From the station, you can either walk or take the local bus (line 465) towards Diebesgrund. If you choose to walk, it will take you about 20 minutes. Please check the current bus schedules as they may vary, and ensure you have a valid ticket for the train and bus, which costs around €3.50.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Brandenburg. Start from the city center and head towards Magdeburger Straße/B102, then follow the bike paths leading to L40. The total distance is approximately 10 km. The ride will take you through scenic areas, and you can enjoy the nature along the way. Make sure to wear a helmet and carry water.
