Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto the A115 motorway. From the center of Brandenburg, take the B1 towards Potsdam. Once you are near Potsdam, follow the signs for the A10 (Berliner Ring) and then take the exit toward Potsdam West. Continue on the B1 until you reach the intersection with Am Neuen Palais. Turn right onto Am Neuen Palais, and you will find the New Palace on your left. There is parking available nearby.

Public Transportation

To visit the New Palace using public transportation, head to the Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and take the regional train RE1 towards Potsdam. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. From there, take bus line 605 towards 'Schwielowsee' and get off at the 'Neues Palais' stop. The New Palace is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the path leading directly to the palace. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services might be limited on weekends.
