Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Cologne city center, start at the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom). Head south toward the Hohe Straße shopping street. Continue straight until you reach the banks of the Rhine River. Once you arrive at the river, turn right and walk along the promenade. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you see the modern architecture of Rheinauhafen on your left. You will pass by several cafes and restaurants along the way, making it a pleasant walk.

    From the Cologne Cathedral, walk to the nearby 'Dom/Hauptbahnhof' tram stop. Take tram line 5 toward 'Sülz' or tram line 16 toward 'Bocklemünd' and get off at 'Heumarkt' station after 2 stops.
