Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, start at the Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Exit the station and walk straight down Worringer Strasse toward the city center. Continue until you reach the junction with Wilhelm-Marx-Haus, then turn left onto Schadowstraße. Walk straight until you reach the famous Königsallee (Kö). Follow Königsallee southward until you reach the junction with the Rhine River. Once you reach the river, turn right (west) and walk along the riverbank. You will soon see the Rhine Tower (Rheinturm) ahead on your left at Stromstraße 20.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, take the U78 or U79 tram towards 'Düsseldorf-Grafenberg' or 'Düsseldorf-Rath' respectively. Get off at the 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' stop (it’s just 2 stops away). Transfer to tram line 707 towards 'Düsseldorf-Benrath' and get off at 'Stromstraße'. Exit the tram and walk towards the Rhine Tower, which is just a short 5-minute walk from the tram stop.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop at 'Königsallee'. Take bus line 726 towards 'Düsseldorf-Benrath'. Get off at the 'Stromstraße' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the Rhine Tower, located at Stromstraße 20. Just follow the signs towards the Rhine River, and you will see the tower.
