If you are driving from Bonn, take the A565 towards Mechernich. Merge onto the A1 and continue until you reach the exit for Mechernich (Exit 109). Follow signs for Mechernich on the L500 and then turn onto Kakusstraße. The parking area is located near Kakusstraße 3, 53894 Mechernich. Note that there may be a small parking fee, so have some coins ready.

From Bonn, take the regional train (RE) towards Euskirchen and get off at Mechernich station. From Mechernich station, you can take bus line 811 towards 'Weyer' and get off at the 'Kakusstraße' stop. Walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Kartsteinfelsen mit Kakushöhle at Kakusstraße 3, 53894 Mechernich. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may vary.
Walking
If you arrive at Kakusstraße by bus or car, you will need to walk to the Kartsteinfelsen mit Kakushöhle. From Kakusstraße 3, head towards the nearby nature trails. Follow the signs leading to the Kartsteinfelsen. The path is well-marked and should take about 10-15 minutes to walk depending on your pace.
