Once in Ulmen, follow the signs directing you to Ulmener Maar, which is located just outside of the town. There are ample parking spaces available near the maar.

To reach Ulmener Maar by public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is Cochem or Ulmen station. From Cochem, you can catch a regional bus (Bus Number 711) that goes directly to Ulmen. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Ulmen, follow the local signs to Ulmener Maar, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.
