Walking
If you're starting from Erfurt's main train station (Erfurt Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main road, Bahnhofstraße. Follow Bahnhofstraße straight for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Anger. Turn left onto Anger, a large pedestrian area. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters until you see the historic buildings and shops. Look for the sign pointing towards Waagegasse. Turn right onto Waagegasse, and the Old Synagogue will be located at number 8, on your left side.

Public Transport
From the main train station (Erfurt Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 towards 'Gispersleben' or tram line 4 towards 'Stotternheim'. Get off at the 'Anger' stop, which is about a 5-minute ride. Once you exit the tram, walk straight towards the pedestrian area and continue straight for approximately 600 meters. Look for Waagegasse on the right. Turn right onto Waagegasse, and the Old Synagogue will be at number 8 on your left.

If you are in the city center near the historic marketplace (Marktplatz), head towards the Erfurt Cathedral (Dom). From the cathedral, walk down the street called 'Domstraße' towards 'Waagegasse'. Continue walking straight, passing through the charming old town streets, and make a right onto Waagegasse. The Old Synagogue will be at number 8, just a short walk from the cathedral.
