Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Essen Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S1 train towards Dortmund. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at Bochum Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive at Bochum Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and walk towards the bus stops located just outside. Look for bus number 385 or 386, which will take you directly to the stop 'Planetarium'. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. After disembarking at the 'Planetarium' stop, you will see the Planetarium Bochum just a short walk ahead on Castroper Str. 67.

• Walking

  If you are near the city center of Essen, you can walk to Essen Steele station. From there, take the S1 train towards Dortmund. After reaching Bochum Hauptbahnhof, exit and head to the bus stops outside the station. Board bus number 385 or 386 towards 'Planetarium'. After about a 10-minute bus ride, get off at the 'Planetarium' stop. The Planetarium Bochum will be a brief walk away at Castroper Str. 67.
