From Essen Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), take the U11 tram towards 'Bergmannsfeld'. This tram runs frequently, so you won't have to wait long. Stay on the tram for about 5 stops, and get off at 'Kettwiger Str./Essen Steele'. Once you exit the tram, walk straight down Kettwiger Str. for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Anna-Heinemann-Weg. Turn left onto Anna-Heinemann-Weg, and you will see Platz der Begegnung on your right after approximately 200 meters.

If you are near the city center of Essen, you can walk to Platz der Begegnung. Start from the Essen Cathedral (Essener Münster). Head south on Altendorfer Str. towards Kettwiger Str. Continue on Kettwiger Str. until you reach the intersection with Anna-Heinemann-Weg. Turn right onto Anna-Heinemann-Weg and walk for about 700 meters. Platz der Begegnung will be on your right.
