Car
If you're driving, head towards Wunsiedel, which is centrally located in the Fichtel Mountains. From the A93 highway, take the exit towards Wunsiedel (Exit 24). Follow signs for B303 towards Wunsiedel. Once in Wunsiedel, continue on B299, and then turn onto Spitalhof street. The Fichtelgebirge Museum is located at Spitalhof 5, just a few blocks from the center of town. Parking is available nearby, but check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach the Fichtelgebirge Museum via public transport, take a train to Wunsiedel. The nearest train station is located in Marktredwitz, approximately 10 km away. From the Marktredwitz station, you can take a bus (line 360) towards Wunsiedel. Get off at the 'Wunsiedel, Stadtmitte' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the museum. Follow the signs towards Spitalhof and you will find the museum at Spitalhof 5. Be sure to check the bus timetable as services may vary.
