  • Public Transport - U-Bahn

    If you're near the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), take the U5 line towards Preungesheim. Get off at the 'Dom/Römer' station, which is just a few stops away. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for 'Dom', and you will see the Frankfurt Cathedral (Frankfurter Dom) directly ahead as you reach the Domplatz.

    From the main shopping area at Zeil, you can catch tram line 11 or 12 at the 'Zeil' stop. Ride for just two stops and get off at 'Dom/Römer'. After exiting the tram, walk straight ahead towards the large square, and you will find the Frankfurt Cathedral right in front of you.

    If you are in the Römer area, you can simply walk to the Cathedral. Head north towards the large square called Domplatz. The Cathedral is located at Domplatz 1, and you will see it towering above as you approach the square. It's about a 5-minute walk from the Römer.

    If you are coming from outside the city center, take an S-Bahn train (S1, S2, S3, S4, S6, S8) to the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station).
