Getting there

Public Transport - Tram

If you are at the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), head to the 'Tram Station' located just outside the main entrance. Take Tram Line 16 or 17 towards 'Ginnheim' or 'Bockenheimer Warte'. After about 5 stops, get off at 'Messe' tram stop. From there, walk towards the Messeturm and you will find the Public Art 'Hammering Man' right in front of it on the Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage.

Public Transport - U-Bahn (Metro)

From the Hauptbahnhof, you can also take the U-Bahn. Head to the U-Bahn station located at the train station and take U4 towards 'Bockenheimer Warte'. Get off at 'Messe' station, which is just one stop away. Exit the station and follow the signs for the Messe. The 'Hammering Man' sculpture is located right in front of the Messeturm on Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage.

Walking

If you are near the city center, you can walk to the location. From the Römer (the old town hall), head south towards the 'Kaiserstraße'. Continue walking straight until you reach the 'Messe' area. You will pass by several shops and cafes. The Messeturm is a tall building, very noticeable. The 'Hammering Man' sculpture is located right in front of it on Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Bus

If you are near the city center, you can take Bus Line 36 from 'Ernst-Ludwig-Straße' towards 'Messe'. Get off at the 'Messe' stop, which is just a short walk from the Messeturm. As you exit the bus, you can see the tall building of the Messeturm. The 'Hammering Man' sculpture is directly in front of it on Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage.
