Getting There

  • Public Transport - U-Bahn

    If you are near the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U5 line towards 'Preungesheim'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Römer'. Exit the station and walk straight towards the main square. You will see Römerberg ahead of you, with its iconic medieval buildings.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From any point in the city center, locate the nearest tram station and take tram line 11 or 12 towards 'Ginnheim' or 'Südbahnhof'. Get off at 'Dom/Römer'. Once you exit the tram, you will find Römerberg just a short walk away, following the signs towards the historic square.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Innenstadt area, you can easily walk to Römerberg. Start from the Zeil shopping street and head towards the historic district.
