    From Sachsenhausen, you can also take the tram to get closer to Portikus. Head to the nearest tram stop, which is likely 'Hochstraße' or 'Schweizer Platz'. From there, take tram line 15 in the direction of 'Bockenheimer Warte'. Get off at the 'Schumannstraße' stop. From this stop, it is about a 10-minute walk to Portikus. Head towards the River Main and cross the Alte Brücke. Portikus will be located at Alte Brücke 2 on the Maininsel. Note that a single tram ticket costs approximately €2.75.
