Walking
Augustinerplatz is centrally located within Freiburg's Old Town and is easily accessible by foot from most central locations. From the Freiburger Münster (Freiburg Cathedral), head east towards the Rathausplatz (Town Hall Square). Continue past the Rathaus, and Augustinerplatz will be a short walk further, marked by the Augustinermuseum. The walk is mostly flat and takes approximately 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport
The closest tram stops to Augustinerplatz are 'Oberlinden' and 'Bertoldsbrunnen'. From either stop, Augustinerplatz is a short walk of a few minutes. Tram lines 1, 3, and 5 serve Bertoldsbrunnen. Tram line 1 serves Oberlinden. A single ticket within Zone A (Freiburg city area) costs €2.50.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Freiburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) to Augustinerplatz will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around €10-€15.
