Walking
If you are starting from Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head southeast towards the city center. Cross the street at the traffic lights and continue along Bismarckallee. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße and continue straight. After approximately 5 minutes, you will arrive at the historical city center, known as the Altstadt. Continue walking until you reach the large square called Münsterplatz, where the Freiburg Cathedral is located. From the cathedral, head towards the south exit of the square and take a right onto Martinstraße. Follow Martinstraße for a few minutes and then take a left onto Martinsgässle. You will soon see Martin's Gate (Martinstor) ahead of you.
