If you are staying in the center of Füssen, Gesellenbrunnen is easily reachable on foot. Start at the main square, Marienplatz, and head east toward Schrannengasse. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Schrannengasse. Turn left onto Schrannengasse, and you will find Gesellenbrunnen located at the end of the street. The walk covers approximately 400 meters and is a pleasant stroll through the charming streets of the old town.
Car
If you are driving, navigate to Schrannengasse, 87629 Füssen. From the center of Füssen, drive towards the main road (B310). At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight, and turn left onto Ludwigstraße. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Schrannengasse, where you can park in nearby public parking areas such as Parkhaus P1 or P2. After parking, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Gesellenbrunnen.
Public Transportation
To reach Gesellenbrunnen using public transportation, take bus line 73 or 78 from the Füssen bus station (Zentrale Omnibusbahnhof) towards Schwangau or Neuschwanstein. Get off at the stop 'Füssen Stadtmitte.' From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Gesellenbrunnen. Head east on Bahnhofstraße, then turn left onto Ludwigstraße, and finally turn left onto Schrannengasse. The bus ticket costs approximately €2.50 one way.
